Welcome to videodubbing.com ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our video translation and dubbing services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the practices described herein.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, billing details, and account credentials.
  • Content Data: Videos, audio files, subtitles, and related materials submitted for processing.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device information, browser type, and usage metrics (e.g., via cookies).
  • Communication Data: Support inquiries, feedback, and survey responses.
  • Google Sign-In data: If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as described in section 3.

3. Google Sign-In and Google user data

videodubbing.com offers Sign in with Google as an optional authentication method. When you use it, we access only the Google user data required to create or sign in to your account.

Data we receive from Google: your name, email address, and profile picture. We request the email and profile scopes only. We do not request Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, YouTube, or other Google OAuth scopes for this client. If you later import a file from Google Drive or paste a YouTube URL in the product, that is a separate user-initiated file or URL flow — not access granted through this Sign in with Google consent screen.

How we use Google user data: to create or sign in to your videodubbing.com account, display your name and avatar in the application, and send transactional email related to your account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

How we store Google user data: name and email are stored on your account record on our systems. Your profile picture may be copied to our object storage so we can display it without relying on a live Google URL.

How we share Google user data: we do not sell Google user data or use it for ads. We may share it with subprocessors only as needed to operate the Service (for example hosting and transactional email). Google LLC provides the sign-in. Other sharing is limited to the cases in section 5 (legal requests and business transfers).

Retention and deletion: Google Sign-In data is retained with your account data — until you request deletion or after 2 years of inactivity. To delete your account and the associated Google user data, use in-app account deletion or email privacy@videodubbing.com.

Limited Use: Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing sign-in and account features that are visible in videodubbing.com.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (e.g., processing video translations and dubbing for your projects).
  • To authenticate users and process payments securely.
  • To communicate with you (e.g., service updates, customer support).
  • To monitor reliability and security of the Service using aggregated operational metrics that do not include your creative content.
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax, fraud prevention).

AI and model training: We do not use your videos, audio, scripts, subtitles, or other project content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI/ML models for other customers or for our general products. Content is processed only to deliver the Service you requested (including via carefully selected subprocessors). Enterprise customers may also execute a Data Processing Agreement and IP/AI-use addendum that contractually reinforces this commitment.

Legal Basis (GDPR / UK GDPR): We process your data based on (a) contractual necessity, (b) legitimate business interests, or (c) your consent where required. GoGlobal Solutions Ltd. is a UK company; processing is governed by applicable UK and EU data protection law.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers (subprocessors): Third-party vendors for hosting, object storage, payment processing, email delivery, and AI-based translation/speech features required to deliver the Service. A current subprocessor list is available to enterprise customers under NDA / as a DPA annex.
  • Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights (e.g., subpoenas, fraud investigations).
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • International Transfers: Some subprocessors may process data outside the UK or EEA (for example in the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), together with the provider’s data processing terms. We do not claim that all content remains exclusively within the EU/EEA at every processing step.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption (TLS) for data in transit and encryption at rest for stored media objects.
  • Access controls and logging for production systems and sensitive data.
  • Periodic security assessments as part of our security programme.

Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Restrict or object to processing (e.g., opt-out of marketing).
  • Data portability (request a copy of your data in a structured format).
  • Withdraw consent (where applicable).
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (GDPR).

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tools to:

  • Authenticate users and maintain sessions.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

  • Account Data: Until deletion request or 2 years post-inactivity.
  • Content Data: Automatically cleaned up after 30 days unless retained for legal/contractual reasons or active account use.
  • Financial Records: 7 years for tax compliance.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under 16 (or 13 in non-GDPR regions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent site notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
